The story
Rashida started her career in accounting recruiting more than a decade ago, placing candidates across accounts payable, bookkeeping, staff accounting, and finance leadership for growing companies in multiple industries.
Along the way she discovered something the traditional accounting world rarely talks about: remote work isn't just possible in accounting — it's where the most exciting opportunities are quietly being built. From distributed startups to fractional CFO practices, the future of finance is remote-first.
But the resources and job boards available to remote accounting candidates were either generic, outdated, or completely missing. Rashida built Peachtree Careers to fix that — a curated home for remote accounting jobs, a pre-filled application tracker, interview prep databases, market research, and the career resources she wished her candidates had access to earlier in their journey.
